Carefree Translations was founded in 2020 in the heart of Zaragozas Old Town — in a narrow street behind the Basílica del Pilar where three cultures shaped a city. Zaragozas Roman, Islamic, and Christian heritage makes it a natural home for a translation agency that believes language is culture, not just words.
Our team consists of 6 translators, each with a creative specialization: two literary translators (one a published novelist, one a published poet), one audiovisual translator with 10 years of subtitle and dubbing experience, one academic translator with a PhD in comparative literature, one tourism and hospitality specialist who spent 8 years in the hotel industry, and one generalist business translator who handles everything from contracts to press releases.
